Federal Action Dismissed, Process Server Unable to Locate

Every process service assignment involves different set of challenges.  We’re not just couriers delivering a package.  Process servers must comply with applicable legal regulations and requirements of the originating jurisdiction.

After a process server in Springfield, MO was unable to locate defendant, federal lawsuit was dismissed. This is rare, typically most professional, experienced process servers will get their defendant.  In other cases, service of process by publication or other means is authorized by some courts.  We’ve even heard of process service through Facebook or other electronic means!
