Why do I have to pay extra for RUSH Service of Process?
We offer the best possible pricing for various delivery speeds by scheduling Process Service by zones – or physical locations – throughout our coverage area. Not unlike other delivery carriers, our Process Server rates are determined by how quickly you need the job completed.
When we receive an assignment on routine basis, we go to the locations every 3 to 5 business days. If we are not scheduled to visit a particular area, we will hold assignment up to 5 business days – because we usually receive additional assignments going to the same zone. This reduces our overall cost to visit a particular zone. If we have no other process service assignments within the time period, we make the visit anyway.
When you request rush or emergency service, we put aside other routine process service matters to attempt service at the rush or emergency address. Although we attempt to complete rush service ‘within capacity’ at no extra charge, your payment guarantees we’ll get to your Process Service assignment in time.
What is ‘within capacity’? That means if we’re already scheduled to visit a particular area or zone the rush process server assignment is requested in, we will often complete on rush basis at no extra charge. This is done as a courtesy only, we do not guarantee time frames of any ‘within capacity’ requests.
